Friday 2

Saturday 3

I painted my bell cranks and associated bits and pieces. I am not sure if this is really required, but a coat of paint will ensure they are protected for a very long time.

Sunday 4

I got the aileron push tubes out and cut them to length. They also got a nice coat of paint as well.

Monday 5

Tuesday 6

.I did my usual hour and a bit of instrument training again tonight.

Wednesday 7

I flew up to Watertown and started a conversion to a C182. After bashing around everywhere in my C150 it was nice to get in an aircraft with some "grunt". The thing actually climbs, rather a novel experience compared to the C150. What is not novel is that I can fly for one third of the cost in my C150, and the C182 does not go three times faster !!

Friday 9

Saturday 10

I didn't do any building today, but I did sneak in an extra instrument training lesson. I have decided that this instrument rating is really difficult, I have to concentrate really hard on spatial orentation and I can't claim to be good at it

Sunday 11

Monday 12

I finished off my C182 conversion today, its a nice aircraft. If my Europa performs as well I will be really pleased.

Thursday 15

Saturday 17 ~ Saturday 31

The rest of this month seems to be degenerating into packing up and moving. I have to leave another perfectly good workshop and build another. This is the Europa's third home and hopefully it will be its last construction workshop.

The new house does have a great area for building. It's heated and has double access doors to the outside. Its 20' long so hopefully I will be able to have just enough room to fit up the engine.
